Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Log Habit is a habit tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Who we are

Log Habit ("we", "us") operates the website and app at loghabit.online. For any privacy question, write to support@loghabit.online.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We never receive your Google password.

Your habit data. The habits and trackers you create, your check-ins, streaks, notes, goals, and settings such as your chosen theme and reminder times.

Notification data. If you enable reminders, we store a device push token and your reminder time and time-zone offset so nudges arrive at the right hour.

Payment data. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store only the payment and subscription identifiers, plan, and status returned to us. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or UPI credentials.

Technical data. Basic logs such as error reports and request metadata, used to keep the service working.

How we use it

To run your account and sync habits across your devices; to calculate streaks, stats, and the weekly league; to send the reminders you asked for; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to fix bugs and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Leaderboards and anonymity

The weekly league shows a display name and score only. It never reveals your email address or the names of the habits you track.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us operate: our hosting and database provider, Google (sign-in), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and Razorpay (payments). Each receives only what is needed for its function. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Storage and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. Access rules restrict every record to the account that owns it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your habit data is deleted. Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons (such as payment records) are retained for the period the law requires.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and its contents. Email support@loghabit.online and we will respond within 30 days. You can turn off reminders at any time in Settings or in your browser or device notification permissions.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage and cookies strictly to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and cache your habits so the app works quickly. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Log Habit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
